John Villaoz, Centralized Services Technician

Role & Responsibilities: I work as a NOC Engineer responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health, security, and availability of client systems. I manage Axcient backups, respond to EDR alerts, and handle server and device alerts to make sure issues are identified and addressed early.

Day to day, clients see me proactively monitoring their environment, verifying backups, investigating alerts, and resolving issues before they turn into outages. I focus on keeping systems stable and secure with minimal disruption to their operations.

What sets me apart is my attention to detail and investigative approach. I don’t just clear alerts, I look for the root cause, reduce repeat issues, and communicate clearly so clients understand what happened and what was done.

Industry Experience: I have been working in the IT industry since 2016. Throughout the years, I’ve built solid hands-on experience in NOC operations, including system monitoring, backups, and security alert response. Being in the field for several years has helped me develop strong troubleshooting skills, good judgment, and a consistent, reliable approach to handling issues.

What You Bring to the Centralized Services Team: I bring practical experience and a proactive approach to the team. I’m used to spotting issues early, figuring out what’s really going on, and addressing problems before they affect clients. Most importantly, I help clients by keeping their systems stable and secure, and by communicating clearly so they know what’s happening and that their environment is being taken care of.

Outside of Work / Fun Facts: Well. Outside of work, I make it a point to work out to stay in shape and clear my head, haha! It helps me stay balanced and focused. I also play the guitar, which has always been a personal passion of mine and something I enjoy doing to relax and recharge. 😀

Your Personal Quote: Do the work right, stay consistent, and take care of the details, results will follow.

How You Help Clients & Their Benefits: I help clients by monitoring their systems, managing backups, and handling alerts to keep everything running smoothly. They benefit from stable, secure systems and clear communication, so they can focus on their work without worrying about technical issues.
